25th July 2005:
Following the successful implementation of a fully certified environmental management system (EMS) at Lea Interchange, our Vehicle Engineering Workshop, Bywaters is proud to announce that this system has now been implemented and certified to ISO 14001 standards at a further two sites: Marshgate 1, our Business Development office and Marshgate 2, our Equipment Maintenance workshop.

The system at all three sites has been thoroughly reviewed by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, a UKAS accredited third party and they are satisfied that the way we operate is up to the strict standards of ISO 14001.

Bywaters has always been committed to continual environmental improvement, which led to the decision to implement a formally certified environmental management system (EMS) at the beginning of 2003.

This commitment remains firm and we hope to bring Gateway Road, our Head Office site, into the overall EMS by the end of 2006.
