In mid 2006 Bywaters began investing in new, award winning, Toyota Prius hybrid drive cars to replace some of the older less environmentally friendly cars within our fleet. The Toyota Prius which needs little introduction here, has proven to be one of the most advanced forms of modern transport with respect to exceptionally low carbon emissions of 104g/km. This has largely been achieved with the incorporation of some very clever engineering in electric hybrid drives. This form of low carbon emissions is in direct line with Bywaters environmental ethos. With this and our continual growth in mind, we have continued to increase the fleet with a recent acquisition of a further five Hybrid drives.
As a positive step to further enforce our strong environmental impact policy it is Bywaters intention to continue to invest in these low emission hybrid drives.
