Bywaters exhibited at Newham Business Forum at West Ham United Football Club on Wednesday 25th February 2009. The event aimed to encourage local businesses to work together to get the most out of future opportunities of the Olympic Games, to the benefit of the borough.
Bywaters demonstrated how the unique Bycycler recycling system can help reduce waste management costs and improve local businesses environmental performance. We also showcased the role of London's largest undercover dry recyclables Materials Recovery Facility in maximising recycling using commingled collections.
There were speeches from local business people from Canary Wharf, East London Business Place and the LDA Legacy Directorate. The forum also provided an opportunity to pose questions to the speakers and hear about changes that may influence local businesses.
More than 30 exhibitors from Westfield, East London Business Place, Olympic Delivery Authority, London Development Agency, business advice agencies, Newham Council and other major organisations were on hand to provide advice and information.
