15th September 2009:
The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on Tuesday 15th September at Bywaters’ Recycling and Waste Management facility in East London.
The prominent event attracted key business leaders, professionals and decision makers from the Facilities Management (FM) industry.
The afternoon began with Helen Glover, Director of Bywaters opening the event and introducing Bywaters. Guests then had the opportunity to tour London’s largest undercover Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Bywaters state of the art MRF processes dry recyclables from businesses and councils across London and the South East – the latest of which is from the North London Waste Authority.
Bywaters affiliation with the BIFM dates back many years and continues to be a successful and fruitful working partnership. The event was well received with the industry peers becoming acquainted with one of the recycling and waste management industry’s most dynamic and forward thinking organisations.
