19th April 2010:
Bywaters, London’s local Recycling and Resource Management company, gave the young players of Wadham FC a taste of being a professional football player for a day.
Leyton Orient Football Club (LOFC) and their official Recycling and Resource Management partner Bywaters invited the new generation of hopeful footballers to watch the match against Stockport County before the juniors walked onto the pitch for a half-time penalty shoot-out against the club mascot.
Warmed up by a spot of lunch in the club’s Gallery Suite, each of the boys and Coaches from Wadham FC was presented with a LOFC shirt, before taking their front row seats.
LOFC has experienced a season of mixed results but a clear win of 2-0 eliminated any chance of relegation. Bywaters prides itself on supporting the local community and is looking forward to supporting their favourite local team and taking another set of young player back for a match day experience.
