January 2011:
On December 9th 2010 Ana-Flavia Freire, Vana Tercia Freitas and Ana Santos, all from the Ministry of the Environment Brasilia, visited Bywaters and spent the afternoon studying the technical developments included within the plant.

The first hand visit was to witness UK best practice in action, and was arranged through the British Embassy in Brasilia, with EU support and DEFRA. The visit was hosted by David Rumble, (Bywaters), John S Glover, (MD Bywaters), Nick Glover, (Director Bywaters) and Zarreen Mokaddam, BEng, MSc. (Bywaters).

Ana Nassar, the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Project Manager commented "The visiting team found Bywaters developments immensely interesting and they hope to use their new-found knowledge to the benefit of Brazil".

The Bywaters MRF was developed based on similar research allowing the company to design a state of the art facility. Our project involved visiting different markets and seeking out the most efficient processes and the highest specification of components in order to deliver our customers solutions which meet their recycling objectives.
