11th March 2005:
"A treasure chest of the best creative solutions to the issue of 'waste' and proof that there is life in materials after their first intended use".
Bywaters has been pleased to support the Re:Fuse exhibition of recycled jewellery & fashion from 18th February to 2nd March at the Old Truman Brewery, off Brick Lane, London, this year.
Bywaters has provided recycling containers for the collection of recyclable materials throughout the course of the event.
The exhibition was organised by the Sonar Project and is an exhibition of jewellery and fashion made from recycled materials. The Sonar Project was set up by Newham College of Further Education through its centre for Innovation and Partnerships (CIPs).
The Sonar Project is set up to offer advice, assistance and training especially to ethnic minority-owned small to medium-sized jewellery enterprises.
For more information on the Sonar Project or pictures of the event, contact the Sonar Team on 020 7613 5283 or email info@sonarproject.org.uk.
