Bywaters supports the UK's largest women-only fundraising event.

Staff from Bywaters, completed the 5km Race for Life in London's Regents Park on Saturday 19th July 2008. Bywaters is a keen supporter of the event and women from the organisation have been taking part for the past three years. So far raising over £4,000 for Cancer Research.

John S Glover, Managing Director, Bywaters commented: "I am absolutely delighted that Bywaters continues to support Race for Life, whose sponsorship contributes hugely to the ground breaking work of Cancer Research. We take our role in the community very seriously, supporting many charities and initiatives, such as Race for Life. It is highly encouraging that the money raised goes towards not only the research but to the scientists, doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to find new treatments for the disease."

Cancer Research UK's Race for Life began in 1994 to raise funds for the charity's work to help beat cancer. To date, 3.4 million women have raised over £200 million for Cancer Research UK, through the flagship event has grown to become the UK's largest women-only fundraising event.
